Timeless Tulips - Get Well Soon

When making Get Well cards, I love to use bright and cheery colors.  Spring may not be here yet, but who wouldn't feel better receiving a Spring-y card like this?

Here's what I did:
  1. Cut a base of Blueberry Bushel at 8.5" x 5.5", scored and folded at 4.25" on the long side.  Use your bone folder to burnish the fold
  2. Cut a mat of Whisper White to 5.25" x 4"
  3. Cut a 3", 2" and 1" strip of three patterns of Blueberry Bushel DSP from the 2018-2020 In Color 6"x6" DSP.  I left all of these at the 6" length.
  4. Adhere the 3" strip of Blueberry Bushel DSP to the Whisper White panel on an angle - it will "hang off" both sides, we will fix that later.  Adhere the 2" strip on top of the 3" strip at the same angle, then add the 1" strip
  5. Use your Paper Trimmer to remove the over-hanging pieces of Blueberry Bushel DSP.
  6. Use your Stamparatus to stamp "get well soon" from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Blueberry Bushel at the bottom right of your card.  I stamp before adding the tulips and stems because I want to make sure I have enough room
  7. On a piece of Daffodil Delight, stamp the tulip image from Timeless Tulips in Mango Melody ink twice - this gives a beautiful contrast and really makes the tulip POP
  8. Use the Tulip Builder punch to cut out the tulips
  9. On a piece of Granny Apple Green, stamp the stems and 2 leaves from Timeless Tulips using Shaded Spruce ink - again, using this darker ink on lighter paper provides a beautiful and crisp image.
  10. Use the Tulip Builder punch to cut out the leaves.  Fussy-cut the stems.
  11. Please the tulips where you would like them on the card front, but don't adhere them yet.  Use this placement to determine where to put the stems.  Adhere the stems first, so that the top of them is under the tulip flowers.
  12. Adhere the tulips
  13. place a small drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue at the base of each leaf and adhere them by sliding the glue-laden end f the leaf gently under the stem.  Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the far side of the leaves to give some added depth to your flowers
  14. Finally, randomly add 3 Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the white areas of your card
